The project has been put into motion with the first step of successfully acquiring the land required for building. By the grace of Allah SWT, after many years of searching and countless prayers; Khadija Charitable Trust has successfully purchased 24 hectares (240,000 m²) of land in Tamahere.
This is a monumental step forward and the foundation upon which our long-term dream of establishing a vibrant community space will be built. The Muslim community in the North part of Hamilton has grown considerably, hence the need for a permanent Masjid and Islamic center is more than ever. The main purpose of RICC is to promote genuine Islamic values through a variety of educational and social activities.
